Support Clean Water in Tennessee!

TNCWN-web

We at Yee-Haw know and understand the value of clean water. Without clean water, you can’t have great beer!

In an effort to help make sure Tennessee communities continue to have access to clean water we are partnering up with the non-profit Tennessee Clean Water Network to hold a special pint night fundraiser at the Taproom on Thursday, July 21 from 5PM to close. $1 from every pint sold that evening will go to the Tennessee Clean Water Network.

The Tennessee Clean Water Network empowers Tennesseans to exercise their right to clean water and healthy communities by fostering civic engagement, building partnerships and advancing, and when necessary enforcing, water policy for a sustainable future. Their goals include advocating for strong policies and programs that result in more effective protection of Tennessee waters and addressing community concerns about water quality and how it impacts health and quality of life and our natural resources.

The Tennessee Clean Water Network has made some great strides throughout Tennessee and right at home in the Tri-Cities. They have installed 10 bottle refill stations in Johnson City on the ETSU campus and beyond to provide clean and free water and reduce plastic bottle usage. In 2015 they were also successful through legal action in reversing the amounts of an explosive, RdX, from being dumped in the Holston River in Kingsport.

Come hang out and support a great cause! We’ll also have live music with the Dashboard Saints from 8PM-11PM. See you there!
