Yee-Haw Brewing Company is quickly making a name for itself in East Tennessee. Since opening our doors in early July 2015, we’ve seen great customer support on a number of fronts.
In the first seven weeks of distribution, Yee-Haw has partnered with over 60 accounts within the Tri-Cities, including many popular bars and restaurants. Customers will also find Yee-Haw beers available in select liquor stores and convenience stores throughout the area, where they can purchase growlers and/or kegs of what is quickly becoming a “go to” for lovers of craft beer.
Distribution to the Knoxville area was announced last week, and we hope to see partnerships with Knoxville merchants mirror those in the Tri-Cities. “We couldn’t be happier with the response we have gotten in the Tri-Cities, and knowing what a great beer town Knoxville is, we’re hoping to see a similar response to Yee-Haw there. Our goal is to see Yee-Haw beer offered in about 50 accounts within the Knoxville area”, said founding partner Joe Baker. “We hope to reach a total of 100 accounts and beginning bottle packaging by early fall.”
The Yee-Haw Taproom is contributing to our success story, too. Since the grand opening on July 30th, the taproom has seen thousands of visitors. All four Yee-Haw flagship beers — Pilsner, Pale Ale, Eighty Shilling Scottish Ale and Dunkel dark lager — are available. The Yee-Haw Taproom is also the first place that patrons will find Yee-Haw seasonal beers. In fact, we recently launched our first seasonal beer — our Oktoberfest. Brewery tours are also planned for the near future.
Steady growth and expansion are keeping our brewing team on their toes. Yee-Haw Brewmaster Brandon Greenwood and his team have been busy brewing Yee-Haw beer in multiple shifts. To help meet demand, Greenwood is looking to expand the brewing team and is currently searching for a head brewer and QA/QC Manager to join the crew. Interested parties will find full job descriptions under “Join The Team” on the website.
